While re-reading the Time is Out of Joint collection at La Galleria Nazionale in Rome, Italy, I encountered a new insight during my usual exploration of museum displays—a newfound appreciation for the relationship between light and art. The projection of light upon sculptures and paintings created new works of art in the form of shadows. Throughout my examination of this collection, I explored a range of perspectives and various shadow formations.
